The Bakery was an idea started from a love of baking! Now, it's a reality! At The Bakery, we believe that your special event is not just about the cake, but about the memories you'll make! Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, showers or corporate events - we want to help make it something you'll never forget!
Our custom cakes are just that...custom! We will help you design the cake of your dreams! We can work with any design, theme or idea! You can call, email, or come by the shop & we will work with you through all the details.
We also offer in-store baked goods in a variety of seasonal flavors...cupcakes, cakes by the slice, cookies, bars & more! Keep up-to-date on what is being offered each week on our Facebook page!

You can now buy our cupcakes in Athens! Starting Wednesday, May 8th, we will be selling our cupcakes at the Craftsman Cottage, at the corner of Market & Clinton Street in Athens!
Starting next Wednesday, May 8th, you will be able to buy our cupcakes at the Craftsman Cottage on the corner of Clinton & Market Street! The same flavors we will have here at our store location will be available Wednesday through Saturday at The Craftsman Cottage! They will have regular & mini sizes, as well as a weekly special baked good, like brownies, bars, cake-by-the-slice, cheesecake-by-the-slice & more! You will even be able to place your orders for special items & have them ready for pick-up there! (No custom cake orders will be taken there)
They're located at 100 N. Clinton St ~ one block off the downtown Square. Parking is available behind the building, as well as on the side-street (Market Str. side). They are open Monday - Saturday, 10am to 5pm
Craftsman Cottage is a new and unique store located in downtown Athens. Besides beautiful antiques and vintage items, Craftsman Cottage showcases over 50 local artists and crafters. Their mission is to promote LOCAL and provide a venue for area artisans to sell their works. Craftsman Cottage has everything from locally made soap to beautiful farm tables made from local barnwood ~ and everything in-between. Many of their artisans are all about re-purposing and recycling and their pieces reflect their unique creativity.
I know we, The Bakery, & our new friends of the Craftsman Cottage are extremely exited about our new venture & feel it will be a perfect fit together! Another opportunity to promote.....SUPPORT LOCAL!
